Tahoe Artisan Water
Creative Writing & Visual Brand Representation
Summer 2024, 2025, & 2026
Exploring how to create a cohesive brand identity across multiple platforms…
My Work With Tahoe…
I’ve worked on various projects with Tahoe Artisan Water between 2024 and 2026, ranging from content creation, on-camera work, lifestyle photography, and creative writing. The brand is deeply rooted in environmental stewardship and Tahoe’s culture. Tahoe’s goal was to build a cohesive brand identity through visual content and written language. My role was to help translate their brand values into content that communicated not only their products but also the lifestyle and sense of place that surrounds the brand.
Lifestyle Photography
The goal of the content I created wasn’t simply to sell water; it was to communicate the lifestyle around it. By combining lifestyle photography with creative writing, I was able to draw connections between the product, the environment, and the consumer. The visual and written language worked together to build an association between Tahoe and the Northern California lifestyle, to position the brand as an extension of the culture and the experiences it represents rather than just another bottled water company.
A key aspect of creating lifestyle content was appearing on-camera during product shoots. Incorporating people into the visual storytelling added personality and a feeling of authenticity to the content, helping the content appear more relatable to the audience.
Blog Content
A large part of developing a well-rounded brand identity for Tahoe Artisan was creating written content for the website. I produced blog content that explored the brand’s connections to the greater California community, allowing Tahoe to connect directly with its consumers. The writing in the blogs was meant to feel informative and welcoming in order to reinforce Tahoe’s perspective and the culture that surrounds it. This helped to create a distinct brand voice, giving the audience a reason to connect with Tahoe Artisan Water beyond its products.
Social Media Content
A large part of the brand's visual identity is built through Tahoe’s social media team, something I was able to contribute to with on-camera content. The nature of on-camera storytelling allowed me to help develop a visual identity that felt natural and approachable to their audience. I focused on creating content that shared moments of the Tahoe lifestyle that didn’t feel like traditional product-focused advertisements.
Reflecting on My Work
My time working with Tahoe Artisan Water gave me firsthand experience in how a cohesive brand identity is developed across multiple platforms and media forms. Through writing, photography, and on-camera content, I strengthened my ability to consistently tell a brand’s story while maintaining an authentic voice. The experience deepened my interest in how lifestyle-oriented brands use culture, place, and community to create narratives that bring value to the consumer beyond the product.
